Horsham is hopping at Easter
Easter is fast approaching Horsham Town, which means a whole host of events are being set up. The whole family are sure to be entertained over half term with so much to do. We’re going to break down the best of the best events for you.
Piazza Italia 9
The annual Piazza Italia event is back in town for it’s ninth time around. Italy is brought to Horsham over a three day event through Easter weekend (April 3rd, 4th and 5th). Piazza Italia is the largest free event to attend in the South East, promising a spectacular super car rally, great food and a fashion show. Find out more here: www.horshampiazzaitalia.co.uk
In the run up to the event you can take part in many different activities, such as voting for the best cup of coffee in Horsham with the District Post. With over 100,000 people expected to attend the event, it’s sure to be a busy and fantastic three days. Sponsored by the likes of local digital agency BritWeb Ltd, Vines Gatwick and Bluecoat Sports, all of the local community are getting involved to make this year the best yet.
Easter Beer Fest
Now for something for just the adults to enjoy over Easter. Pop down to The Tanners Arms for this four day event, with hand chosen and samples fine draught beers and ciders being shown off. Celebrate your love of beer with great food, blues music and hopefully lots of sunshine. In it’s sixth year running this is sure to be a great event to enjoy with friends.

Easter Sunday Activities
If you’re a Horsham local you’re sure to know that Sumners Ponds puts on some great events for all of the family to enjoy. Hop, jump and skip down to the park for some great Easter Sunday activities, starting with an Egg Hunt with the Easter Bunny from 10am, for only £3.50. If you can’t make that, pop down at 2pm-4pm. There’s also a Bunny Hunt in the Woods all day, just pick up a worksheet and claim your egg prize at the end, for just £1 each.
If you’re a bit peckish, you can pick up some great food from the seasonal menu at The Cafe by the Lake, or sit back and relax on the Boat Train for £3.
