Places to eat in Horsham this Father’s Day
On the one day of the year that you can show Dad just how special he is to you, you might as well celebrate in style with a day full of food and good company. Why not take the family out for a lovely walk around Horsham’s scenery before ending up in one of these local eating spots?
If you want to impress your family this Father’s Day, here’s our guide on experiencing the sunny weather (hopefully) and great local food:
The Green Man
Nothing says ‘I appreciate you’ like treating your loved ones to a traditional Sunday roast in beautiful gardens. The Green Man are set in the lovely village of Partridge Green and are well known for their roast dinners and tasty sides.
You will definitely want to book in advance, as tables get snapped up quickly. Give them a call on 01403 710250 to get your family a table!
Cisswood House Hotel
There’s nothing better than getting dressed up and going out for lunch at a swanky hotel. However, at only £35 per adult and £17.50 per child, this isn’t going to break the bank. With a menu of light sandwiches to salads and even afternoon teas, Cisswood has a lot to offer. Set in Lower Beeding, the grounds are beautiful for a walk after lunch if the weather is nice!
Again, make sure you book to ensure your family have a table. Simply call 01403 891216 to reserve.
Restaurant Tristan
If you’re looking for something a bit more upmarket, taking your Dad to a Michelin Star eatery like Restaurant Tristan will definitely hit the spot. If your family enjoy the hustle and bustle of atmospheric restaurants rather than quiet walks round the country side, this is the perfect place for you. For £55 per person you’ll get four courses along with a glass of prosecco. With a starter of scallops followed by beef sirloin, tender lamb and a dessert of blackberry souffle, your tastebuds will be left tingling. Kids under 12 eat for just £25 too!
Wherever you eat this Father’s Day in Horsham, we hope you have a wonderful time with your family. Let us know which spot you’re planning to visit on Twitter @HorshamBlog.
