How to spend Halloween in Horsham

halloween-house

It’s October, which only means one thing… Halloween!

If you’re not sure what to do this fright night don’t worry, there is an abundance of activities going on in Horsham this October to get you in the spooky spirit.

Haunted High Places

High Places in Horsham Park are embracing the celebration with their demonic outbreak themed adventure taking place Tuesday 25th – Monday 31st October. There are three different sessions catering for different age groups so you can choose which level of scary you can handle.

High Places is one of a number of safe zones from the recent demonic outbreak! You have been advised to make your way to one of these safe zones quickly. You will have to make your way round two obstacle courses whilst you attempt to evade the attacking demons to make it to the safe zone. Do you think you can take on the challenge?

Halloween crafts

Horsham Museum are offering Halloween Crafts as an alternative, not so scary, option for the kids. Taking place on the 26th October there are two time slots when children aged 5+ can get a bit messy with some Halloween crafts and activities. Workshops must be pre booked and paid for in advance, to find out how to book head over to their website, horshammuseum.org.

Halloween parties

If you are in the mood for a bit of daunting disco dancing, we have got just the thing.

Once a month The Holbrook Club put on a Family Disco and this month it is no different apart from the fact it is going to have a Ghoulish Halloween theme. This is something you won’t want to miss. Dance the night away on either the 28th or 29th October.

There is also an all-day Halloween party and market in the Carfax, Horsham on the 27th October. Organised by Horsham District Council the party will offer a variety of fantastic entertainment for younger children.  Your kiddiewinks can enjoy a fun zone with crafts and face painting as well as street entertainments and storytelling. There will also be a themed fancy dress competition organised by the Rotary Club of Horsham. Better get those thinking caps on!

So if you didn’t know what to do before, you are now spoilt for choice. Whatever you choose to do we hope you have a horrifying Halloween!
