Trick or treat trail – Horsham Town Centre
A popular event that runs every year in Horsham that is perfect for families and young children.
Simply visit local shops and businesses in Horsham town centre for a spot of trick or treating and enjoy some sweet treats and a few tricks here and there. Entry forms can be found on the Rotary Club of Horsham’s website or participating stores.

Shriek Week – Drusillas Park in East Sussex
From Saturday 23rd October to Sunday 31st October the park will play host to a range of eerie events. Discover the creepy corridors of the Haunted Heights castle and keep an eye out for the sin sisters, Hocus and Pocus! Locate the ancient missing mummy from the tomb as you creep through the terror maze and meet the mini monsters at the creepy crawly animal enclosures.
This year, they have added a few new features that are sure to scare the whole family! Tickets can be booked online and don’t forget to go dressed up – you may win the fancy dress competition!
Halloween Happy Hauntings – Fisher’s Farm
It’s all happening at the award-winning Fishers Farm Park this October half term!
Suitable for children and families, head down to Fishers Farm Park with your mini monsters. The event promises to be frightfully fun and includes:
- Magic shows
- Ghost tunnel rides
- Creepy houses and spooky being
- Spooky family films
Tickets can be booked online and start at £15.95.
Halloween Boat Trips – Wey and Arun Canal
Enjoy a spooky Wey and Arun Canal trip on 30th October. Booking is essential and there are two trips available – 12pm and 2pm.
The boat itself will be decorated for Halloween and brave souls boarding the boat should come dressed for the occasion!
Prices are:
- Adults – £9
- Children – £4.50
This includes refreshments and a chocolate treat!
Floral Pumpkin Workshop – Amanda Jane Flowers
Looking to get a bit creative this Halloween? Sign up for this Halloween floral pumpkin workshop on 28th October at 7pm or 31st October at 10am by Amanda Jane Flowers. Here, you’ll learn how to make a beautiful arrangement of flowers, but in a pumpkin!
For adults only, you can sign up online and attend the workshop in Plummers Plain for £65 per person.
Hocus Pocus Outdoor Cinema – Plumpton Racecourse
Watch this 90’s Halloween classic alfresco style at Plumpton Racecourse. Their large, outdoor cinema screen and excellent sound system will make this cult classic seem like a whole new experience.
Bring your own seating, snack and blankets and be bewitched on 30th October. There are two showtimes, 5pm and 8pm and all tickets can be booked online.
