The Christmas period is finally here, and this year Horsham has a lot to offer in terms of events! Whether you’re looking for a great Christmas market to get some shopping done, or somewhere to grab wonderful seasonal food, Horsham and its surrounding areas have something to offer this year.

We have compiled a list of some of the best Christmas events that are taking place in and around Horsham this year.

Glow Wild 2022 at Wakehurst

A short drive out of Horsham lies the beautiful grounds of Wakehurst gardens, who are once again putting on their award-winning winter lantern trail. In the evenings, you will see the gardens awash with festive lanterns and captivating lights created by leading artists.

This excellent lights show will take place on selected dates between 24th November to 1st January. Book tickets for Glow Wild.

Meet Father Christmas

John Lewis

This year children will have the chance to meet Father Christmas at John Lewis! Kids can also take home a LEGO or DUPLO gift and buy a photo taken with Santa.

Bookings are required for this Christmas event, so check out the John Lewis website for available slots.

Amberley Museum

Father Christmas is returning to Amberley Museum! On each weekend on the lead up to Christmas, children can meet the man himself – Santa – and receive a gift from him.

Santa Cruise With The Wey and Arun Canal Trust

On various dates you and your family can take a 40 minute trip on the Santa cruise along the canal! The trip includes seasonal refreshments and a present for children under 12 (12-15 year olds will receive a chocolate gift).

Christmas Market

Situated in the Carfax on the 4th December will be the Christmas market. Celebrate the festive season with a variety 0f excellent stalls, where you can buy gifts, tasty food, and much more!

The Bishopric will also host a festive market on the same day, with some familiar traders plus extra Christmas surprises.

Cinderella pantomime
