This Saturday, September 6th marks the start of the month long Horsham District Food and Drink festival. To kick it off, The Big Nibble is back. If you love food and drink then this is the place to be this weekend. The two day event in the Carfax is packed with tasty treats that you will not want to miss.

Saturday

On Saturday, enjoy the Horsham Beer Trail, taking place 11am to 4pm. This will include Piries Bar, The Olive Branch, The Anchor Hotel and others. Grab a souvenir Beer Trail glass and set off on a trail around some of Horsham’s most well-known pubs, having the chance to try some of the finest beers. Further information can be found here.

If that doesn’t take your fancy, The Live Cookery Theatre will take place in the Carfax from 10am to 4pm. Professional chefs will be showing of their culinary skills and may even give out some free tasters. If you are planning to bring the kids along, don’t worry, there is something for the little rascals too. The Little Nibble Children’s Food Festival is on at The Forum all day. The little ones will have the chance to experience crazy Food Science experiments, cookery workshops and creative play.

Sundaybake off horsham

If you thought it couldn’t get any better, you were wrong. The Nibble Trail includes free taster portions for a lucky few from participating restaurants, pubs, cafes and market stalls. The Big Nibble Festival will be running between 10am and 4pm. Featuring a range of local producers offering cheeses, cakes, confectionary, chutneys, ciders and more. As well as this, Sunday will see the Great Horsham Bake Off in The Forum outside Beales. Try your hand at cupcakes, brownies, bread, cakes and test your skills and creativity for the chance of winning the class and a range of prizes.
