Polar Express at Sumners Pond

This is a spectacular Christmas event which will open up the imagination of all children. Grab your golden ticket and board the polar express at Sumners Pond. Here you will be taking on a festive journey to help the elves build a Xmas decoration, then on to meet Mrs. Clause for a story. Then embark on a magical journey to meet St. Nick himself in his grotto and the little ones can enjoy a gift.

Santa on the Wey and Arun Canal Boat

Hop on board the Wey and Arun canal boat near Loxwood and meet Santa. The little ones will receive an early Christmas present and everyone can enjoy festive refreshments including mince pies, mulled wine, shortbread, and juice. The festive trip lasts 40 minutes and is a great way to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.

Cruises will be running on  10th, 17th, 21st, 22nd, and 23rd of December at 11:00am, 12:00pm and 2:00pm.

Horsham Temporary Ice Rink

Get into the wintery Christmas mood by trying out Horsham’s very own temporary ice rink. Located in Horsham Park, this attraction is only open a few months of the year so don’t miss out.

Opening Times

10 am – 9pm (the last session starts 8pm)

Off-peak times – Monday – Friday school term all sessions

Peak times – Weekends and school holidays excluding 18.45 & 20.00 sessions

(Closed Christmas Day & Boxing Day)

The rink is fully covered so you can get your skates on at any time, rain or shine. All ages over 4 years are welcome, whatever your ability. If you are slightly wobbly their waddle penguins are on hand to help you gain confidence on the ice.

The café offers hot drinks and snacks so skaters and non-skaters alike can enjoy the atmosphere in the warmth of the giant marquee.
